Personal Data We Process
We collect the following data through the application and contact forms on our website:
- Identity data: first name, surname, nationality
- Contact data: telephone number, e-mail address
- Visual data: the passport-style photograph you optionally upload with your application
- Professional data: your educational background (student or doctor), the medical specialty you apply for
- Request data: your preferred start date, duration preference and any notes you send us
We do not collect health data or any other special category personal data as defined by law.

- Determining the training program and health institution suitable for you
- Managing the placement process with partner health institutions
- Contacting you and answering your questions
- Coordinating the training and certification process
- Fulfilling our legal obligations
Legal Grounds
- Direct relation to the conclusion or performance of a contract (Law No. 6698, Art. 5/2-c)

- Your explicit consent for transfer to partner health institutions (Law No. 6698, Art. 5/1)
Transfer of Personal Data
IMA acts as an intermediary between the doctor and the health institution. For this reason, once your application has been evaluated, your data is transferred to the partner health institution where you will receive training.
This transfer is based on your explicit consent. If you do not give consent, your application cannot be processed, because the transfer is inherent to the service itself.
Apart from this, your data may only be transferred to authorised public institutions where legally required. Your data is not used for marketing purposes and is never sold or rented to third parties.
Method of Collection
Your personal data is collected electronically and provided directly by you, through the forms on our website, by e-mail and via WhatsApp.
Retention Period
If your application is unsuccessful, your data is kept for a maximum of one year. If your training process begins, it is kept for the limitation periods set out in the relevant legislation. At the end of that period your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the Law you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed
- To request information if it has been processed
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
- To know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data has been transferred
- To request correction if the data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
- To request deletion or destruction of the data
- To request that correction, deletion and destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred
- To object to an outcome against you arising solely from automated analysis of the data
- To claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing
How to Contact Us
You may submit your requests in the following ways:
- By a signed written petition, delivered in person to the address above or through a notary
- From the e-mail address you have previously notified to us and which is registered in our system, to academyydoctors@gmail.com
- Using a secure electronic signature or mobile signature
Your request will be concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on its nature.
